seeds making the Final Four.
Now the important stuff like who won our

The Survivor Pool finished with a two
way tie for first and they will split the prize pot. Congratulations goes to Chadd
Braine and Jeff Graham. Check out the status of the Survivor
Pool at Survivor Pool
Standings.
For those of you lucky enough to have
finished in the money please email me at
pooladmin@thehoopspool.com with your sheet name,
entry number, name and address so that I can send you
your winnings. Don't forget to tip your
administrator.
We also did very well for our charities this year with
over $2000 in donations. Thank you to everyone
especially those who donated extra.
As we have done for many years now $2
from every entry fee will be used for a charitable
donation. This year the donation will be split
between two different charities, The Texas Children's
Hospital and The Maisey and Jake Lowe Children's Fund.
In May 2007 my son Gehrig was diagnosed with a heart defect
known as coarctation of the aorta which required surgery
to repair his damaged heart. Gehrig was 4 years
old at the time of his successful surgery at Texas
Children's hospital. Maisey (10) and Jake (7) Lowe
are my niece and nephew and they live in Fairbanks,
Alaska. In January 2008 their father, my
brother-in-law, Jimmy Lowe died in his sleep as a result
of a heart condition. Jimmy was 37. As you
can see both of these charities are very important to me
and any extra donations to these charities will be
greatly appreciated.
Masters Pool
Many have asked but my schedule just doesn't allow for
me to do the Masters Pool this year. Hopefully it
will be back in 2011.
Thank you for your participation and we will see you
next year!!!
